About

Intelligently Furious is a one-man lab — built and run by me, Ryan Considine.

I’m a Linux systems engineer with a focus on email infrastructure, secure server deployments, and low-overhead observability. Over the years, I’ve worked with everyone from solo founders and dev agencies to internal tech teams, helping them simplify operations without sacrificing control.

I believe in minimalist tools, strong defaults, and doing things right the first time — even if it means getting your hands a little dirty in the shell.

What I Do

  • Harden Linux servers for production use (SSH, firewalls, backups, etc.)
  • Set up reliable, self-hosted email (Postfix, Dovecot, DKIM, etc.)
  • Build TUI-style dashboards and reporting (GoAccess, Netdata, custom shell)
  • Help you escape SaaS vendor lock-in when possible
  • Provide repeatable, documented setups you can hand off or scale

Philosophy

Modern IT shouldn’t be noisy.

I don’t chase complexity, sell bloat, or pretend to be an agency. You won’t get handed off to an account manager or told to open a ticket. If we work together, it’s me — directly — planning, configuring, and delivering the solution.
